Île d’Orléans holds far more secrets than you’d imagine. This themed mini-golf course is here to share them with as many people as possible, through an 18-hole journey that tells the story of the island’s heritage.
At every hole, a page of that history unfolds, brought to life through an anecdote and a custom illustration — to play, learn, and marvel as a family. A playful visit designed for young and old alike, where every swing becomes a chance to discover the island in a whole new way.
We wanted to create an identity that felt playful, elegant, quirky, and approachable all at once: a clean design, rounded shapes, English green (of course), and a logo whose name stacks across several tiers, echoing the shape of the Tour du Nordet itself.

The project’s source material drew on historical documentation of very uneven quality. Our answer: bring it all together through illustration. Each theme was illustrated in an old-fashioned engraving style, and to add a contemporary touch, we slipped in a golf-inspired detail or a quirky element wherever we could.
Deliberate anachronisms and contrasts that intrigue, catch the eye, and make you want to read the historical text on every panel. That visual signature then carried through to all the on-site signage, guiding visitors hole after hole, all the way through their round.
We also led the project’s launch into the digital world: a new website, built with automations to streamline the experience from start to finish, now makes booking and paying online simple and seamless.
Digital campaigns and a steady presence on social media helped spread the word, reaching locals, population from Québec City and beyond alike (residents, tourists, and visitors passing through).
Today, the Minigolf de la Tour du Nordet makes Saint-François a must-stop for anyone visiting Île d’Orléans: a new attraction that energizes the town and benefits residents and visitors alike.
